He definitely wasn't a netrunner - not by any means - but he could get what he needed for a story. Here? Things were much more physical. He didn't know how to pick locks, he wasn't sure how to crack a safe. The mistakes he made were definitely rookie, and he got caught.
"The only thing I'd snitch on is what they're really doing to us here," was all he initially replied with. He wanted to get out of here too, he just had none of the practical skills to do so.
"What, uh, are you doing? How are you gonna get us out?"
